FAQ's

How will I know when Chapel Springs moves to the next phase in the outlined plan?

The Chapel Springs re-opening phases will directly correspond to the current phase of Northern Virginia.

How long will you continue streaming online services?

We will go back to offering live service streaming when we resume regularly scheduled services in the auditorium, (likely phase 3).

Will our regular activities look different as we begin to transition back? How?

Yes. As we move through the different phases, measures will be taken to seek to prioritize the health and safety of our congregation. Because of this, we will continue to modify parts of our services that require physical contact and go the extra mile to keep our facilities clean. Even though we may see more face masks and hand sanitizer around our building, we hope that when we are back to “normal” it will feel like coming home.

As we transition back to in-person gatherings, what measures are being taken to sanitize the facilities?

Chapel Springs Church is following the recommended CDC guidelines to eliminate or reduce common touch points and have increased our capacity and schedule for proper sanitation before, during, and between services.

Will I be required to wear a face mask when I come to church?

In accordance with Executive Order 63, we require all persons who enter our building wear a face covering until Virginia lifts the mandate.

* Congregants who have medical vulnerabilities should follow the recommendations outlined in the Opening Up America Again guidelines. At the present time we plan to open ministry and care to elementary children and younger following Phase 3.
